Land and Property

The Council owns the former School House and School and 106.34 acres of land. The School is leased to the Seamer and District Youth Centre. 9.6 acres of land is leased to the Seamer Sports Association, 95.2 acres to agricultural tenants and 1.22 acres is let to 16 tenants as allotment gardens. The Green, Main Street, (0.4 acres) is maintained for the use of residents and incorporates a Children's Play Area for 5's and under. The Council is also Custodian Trustee for the War Memorial Hall and the Crossgates Community Centre, both facilities being administered by separate Management Committees.
